Salt Spring is a
project operating under the auspices of the Volunteer Centre Project
Steering Committee and Salt Spring Island Community Services
with short-term funding
from the Salt Spring Island Foundation. An advisory committee made up of
representatives of various community groups is overseeing and managing the
project.
Our goal is to establish a
sustainable website and a local database of volunteer opportunities, offer
support and relevant training to volunteer agencies, and to raise
awareness and appreciation of volunteer efforts in our community.
 Volunteer

Volunteer BC
and
Volunteer Canada.
